Conservation Connections Newsletter

Newsletter dedicated to the interests of those interested in natural resources conservation.

The newsletter is a publication of the University of Illinois Extension Natural Resources Management Team , which is comprised of local Extension Educators, regional Center Educators and State Specialists from throughout the state. The overall goal of this newsletter is to improve the environmental awareness of citizens which will lead to a healthy, productive and sustainable environment. Articles pertain to conservation best practices, natural resource decision-making , current research in the field and bridging research with local practice.

There are no easy or simple solutions to natural resource issues we face today. This complexity however underscores the importance of these issues to current and future generations. To help people understand natural resource conservation and how individuals can address issues such as water quality, land use, urban wildlife, energy use, pollution and solid waste management, the University of Illinois Extension Natural Resources Management Team has developed a educational newsletter.
